Sequins and Songs, the social event for barbershop quartets and quartet lovers, is back! This is a great opportunity to network with other barbershop fans and ring some chords. Quartets and small groups at all levels are welcome to perform 1-2 songs to gain performance experience in front of a supportive audience. No judging, no prizes, just the thrill of performing and a great sense of achievement. We welcome ensembles with members of any gender. If you love live music but aren't in a quartet (or your quartet isn't available on this date), please come along and enjoy the show! Family and friends are welcome too.
Bookings are open now! Numbers are limited so share the details with your singing friends to make sure they don't miss out.
Quartets and small groups: The cut-off date for ensembles that wish to perform is Saturday 1 March, to allow sufficient time for planning. Please book your tickets before then.
Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person - please notify us if you are transferring your ticket, as we will have a list of registrants at the door.
The venue is Upper Mt Gravatt Progress Hall, and this will be an alcohol-free event. The Mt Gravatt Bowls Club is right next to the venue, for anyone who wishes to stay after the event for a drink.
Please be aware that photos and/or videos will be taken at this event. By attending the event, you are consenting for photos of you to be used by the organisers on social media and for other promotional purposes.
